Tim Marcham is our Field Training Consultant specialising in Fire Safety

“After leaving a career of 30 years in the London Fire Brigade, I always wanted to use my experience and qualifications to provide people with the necessary education in order to remain safe in regards to the devastating effects of fire. I enjoyed much personal achievement throughout my operational career and gained many skills in interpersonal communication. The role of the fire service had evolved and education was key to the preventative message of fire safety. I decided that businesses could benefit from my expertise and I now enjoy working with companies to make sure their legal obligations are met fully, and people know how to prevent fire in the workplace, and how to escape if it breaks out.

Role play is very much a part of my delivery for learners and I am still actively involved with current service delivery standards through my associate tutor status at the Fire service college, Moreton In Marsh.

I enjoy time with my children when I’m not at work, and activities play a large part of our social life, but I do enjoy surfing and snowboarding as my guilty pleasures.”
